Founded by a Neighbor
Drive Safe Driving Academy was created in 2008 to give parents across Kershaw, Lancaster, Richland and surrounding counties true peace of mind while equipping young drivers with the skills they need for a lifetime of safety.
Since expanding into downtown Kershaw in 2025, we have committed ourselves to providing patient, expert instruction to neighbors throughout the region. For teen students, we offer a welcoming path to independence, turning first-time nerves into total road confidence. For parents, we offer the security of knowing your child is learning responsibility from local professionals who care.
Our academy also serves as a supportive hub for adult learners, whether you are pursuing your very first license or simply wish to sharpen your defensive driving skills in a stress-free environment. By fostering maturity and focus in every driver, we ensure our community stays safe, one lesson at a time.

“Tina at Drive Safe treats every student like their own. Shefocused on real‑life situations, not just passing a test. My teen now talks about blind spots, following distance, and distractions like a pro.”
