Permit Test
We provide a comfortable semi-private setting for your student and can aid those who struggle with reading and comprehending test. This is a service that we offer, and the contract prices does not change if your student already has passed the Knowledge Test.
6 Hours Behind the Wheel
Approximately 3-6 weeks after classroom completion and depending on student eligibility per South Carolina Law, we schedule the first driving session. We focus on mastery of skills and schedule week-to-week to minimize conflicts. Instructor feedback is provided if additional practice is needed.
South Carolina mandates that students 15 & 16 years of age complete a 14 hour Driver's Education course before becoming eligible to take the license exam.

Although this course is required, it is the responsibility of the parent/guardian of the minor to ensure their student has mastered the driving skills to be a successful driver before allowing them to get behind the wheel of a vehicle. New drivers are to have 40 hours of driving practice (10 of those at night) in addition to the driver's education course. Our course is designed for the student who is comfortable behind the wheel and has driven 30+ of the required hours with a parent or guardian. If your student does not get driving time at home, please see office staff for additional services tailored to more fit their driving level.
